  5. LoanPmt generates, saves, or loads loan (auto, consumer, mortgage, etc.)
  6. calculations.  The computed loan variable is menu selectable.  LoanPmt
  7. generates, prints and saves amortization and loan comparison tables.  Features
  8. include Powerful "what-if?" calculations, user-defined currency symbol, and
  9. selectable international date formats.  Pull-down menus, mouse support,
  10. context-sensitive on-line help, and full documentation make LoanPmt very
  11. powerful and easy to use.  LoanPmt is Windows compatible.  LoanPmt is Shareware
  12. with a registration fee of $25 (includes latest version disk & manual and free
  13. upgrade to next version release).

  15. Version 2.1 provides many enhancements and bug fixes over Version 2.0x.  These
  16. include:

  18.   1. Improved file load menu (drive names added).
  19.   2. Deferred principal added as a computed field.
  20.   3. Computed field name is highlighted.
  21.   4. Single years can be selected for printing an amortization table.
  22.   5. Error trapping has been improved.  Non-critical errors cause NO SOLUTION
  23.      to be displayed in the computed field so the cursor can be moved to the
  24.      next input field.
  25.   6. Currency symbol bug in payoff mode fixed.
  26.   7. Erratic initial payment dates bug in DISPLAY mode fixed.
  27.   8. Fixed bug that caused deferred principal interest not to be added when
  28.      computed field is Duration.
  29.   9. Fixed bug that caused UAE crash in Windows on some PC's when NOEMS switch
  30.      used with EMM386.EXE in CONFIG.SYS.
  31.  10. Invalid payment dates bug when semimonthly payments selected and initial
  32.      payment date is the 30th of a 31-day month fixed.
  33.  11. Mouse pointer display problem with Microsoft mouse driver V8.2
  34.      (distributed with Windows 3.1) fixed.

  55. titled "Installing LoanPmt" in the file LOANPMT.TXT.

  57. LoanPmt uses program overlay files to conserve RAM.  If you run this program
  58. from floppy disk this can affect its performance unless your computer has
  59. expanded memory (EMS, not extended memory, XMS).  See the section titled
  60. "Overlays and LOANPMT.OVR" in the file LOANPMT.TXT for more information.
